Greetings in Italian, Chinese, and English.

High school student interns sign-in. Greet children and parents.

8:30 a.m.

Introductory activities, morning circle, calendar events; introduction of new work selected from five areas of learning

Observations and journaling.

8:45 a.m.

Morning work period begins, daily sequence includes:

-individual demonstrations

-free choice

-snack, self-serve

-care for environment

-closing activities, songs, poems, movement and stories

-recess choice in two groups

12:00 noon

Lunch and Quiet time for Extended Day Children
